Kev Bryans motorcycle training has always been there to help you achieve these goals and we look forward to helping the next generation of riders through the various stages of their development to becoming a safe responsible motorcyclist. The centre’s location is perfect, being right on the doorstep of North Staffordshire’s major arterial roads, from urban streets to A and B roads and the motorway for those doing post test training.
We are surrounded by several acres of open tarmac to which Bryan’s have exclusive access, making an unrivalled venue to learn in complete safety, free of any traffic or other hazards, both on our large CBT training areas or the full sized Mod 1 practice area.
CBT
This training course must be taken by anyone withing to ride a motorcycle on the road as a learner, or those wishing to go for a full bike test. It is also mandatory requirement for anyone who does not already have a full moped licence to ride t the road as a learner only. A valid CBT certificate is required to go for your fhis category of vehicle onull test.
TYPES OF LICENCE
A1 125cc: If you are over 17 and under 19
Theory Test: You will need to have passed your theory test to continue past CBT Traning
A2 25-35kw: If you are over 19 and under 24
A 595cc / 50kw: This is referred to as Direct Access
MOD 1: Off-Road Practical Test
MOD 2: On-Road Practical Test
WAYS TO TRAIN
3 ways to train:
Intensive courses / semi-intensive and flexible 3-hour sessions. With semi-intensive and flexible training sessions, we recommend you split Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests with a break of at least 14 days, as not passing the Mod 1 test will prevent you from taking your Mod 2 and the test fee would be lost.
The tests themselves for all categories of licence are identical, it is purley differentated by your age and the size of bike ridden on the test.
Our Taster Sessions are now back up and running and are an excellent way to get a feel for motorcycling. During the session, you will meet out friendly, qualified instructors who will guide you through your first taste of motorcycling on our large on-site area kick starting your biking career.
We charge £50 for the session which includes 45 minutes on our traninig site, but please allow 1 hour in total.
We do require you ro be able to ride a push bike as an essential skill prior to attending this or turther courses.
